ESOL Tutors Needed throughout London

Language House helps ESOL tutors find private students in their local area. Advertising extensively throughout the UK (Google AdWords and other paid advertising on sites such as Gumtree and Vivastreet) generates a considerable volume of enquiries from potential students.

We advertise predominantly in the UK's largest towns and cities and the majority of enquiries are from people living in London, Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Bristol.

Approximately 20% of all enquiries we receive are from people who live in London. Tutors working in London can therefore expect to obtain a considerable number of students.

Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)

We also feature well on Google's natural listings. When students are looking for tutors they will often use Google (or other popular search engines) and will usually search using keywords such as "English classes London", "English lessons London", "Private English classes London" etc. Our website is positioned on the first or second page of Google for most of these keywords. This is due to our search engine optimisation efforts. Our position on the most popular search engines will continue to rise over time and the closer to the top of the first page of Google we are, the more requests for tuition we will receive.

Each time a tutor goes on to teach a student that has been provided by Language House, the tutor must pay a finder's fee of £15.

The finder's fee is paid once the student has completed the first three hours of tuition. This fee of £15 is only paid once for each student or group of students, not after every three hours.

If the student cancels classes before having completed three hours, a reduced finder's fee should be paid as indicated below:

• One hour completed - £5
• Two hours completed - £10

Students pay the tutor directly, generally after each class. Tutors are free to set their own hourly rate although we would recommend tutors to charge £20 - £25 per hour.

To register with Language House you must pay an annual subscription of £24. Your subscription will be valid for twelve months from the date we receive this payment.
