Language House helps language tutors find private students in their local area. Our marketing generates a considerable volume of enquiries from potential students.

The most popular languages are ESOL, Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, German, Russian and Polish although we also often receive requests for the following languages:
Portuguese, Greek, Turkish, Arabic, Hebrew, Japanese, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.

Students pay the tutor directly, generally after each class. Tutors are free to set their own hourly rate although we would recommend a minimum of £15 per hour.
Unlike other agencies, tutors do not have to pay a percentage of what they earn to Language House. Instead we charge tutors a one-off fee to register.
To register with Language House you must take out a 6 month or 12 month subscription.
